Join Crank Sister Ride Leaders Diana & KT for a fun & mellow, Beginner-Mediate ride at Soaring Eagle Park in Issaquah. Since we changed our clocks last weeek for daylight savings, not sure if we'll need lights or not; probably a good idea to bring along a small light, just in case it starts to get dark. There are several parking lots for Soaring Eagle; please note the one below so we're all at the same starting place at 5:30.
This ride is for anyone who identifies as female.

About the Ride
Diana has a nice, 5-ish mile loop around Soaring Eagle Park with about 400 feet of climbing, just over an hour. Bring a small light just in case we need it toward the end of the ride. Social pace, trails are mostly Green with a few Blues-->Perfect weekday, after-work ride!
Evergreen's Trail Description: Soaring Eagle Park is 1 square mile of twisty, intersecting trails that all look alike. Fortunately for the directionally-challenged, there are maps posted at almost every intersection, so it's hard to get lost for very long. Because it's relatively small in total area, Soaring Eagle Park is a great place to get a quick ride after work and it's fabulous for night rides. The trails are twisty, rooty and bumpy, but not overly difficult. The combination of size and technical difficulty make it a great place for both new and experienced mountain bikers to work on their singletrack skills.
Directions
There are several trailheads for Soaring Eagle; we'll meet at the West Entrance, toward the north end of the park (via East Main Drive) (link below) at 5:30, then after a quick intro & bike check, we'll hit the trails. Please be on time; we can't wait longer than 10 minutes for late riders to arrive. Google parking directions: https://maps.app.goo.gl/tBY7xkSqKTcVYtLE9
