Beautiful, some loose rocks

Wow, Evergreen really created a gem - it's still a little rough around the edges (literally ;-) but all-in-all a nice mix of single track and double track with some forest road mixed in for a good measure. This was my first time riding the phase 3 portion and the switchbacks up/down the steep parts are pretty cool. Definitely great for technique building. So close to the city yet feels so remote as you're riding in the sub-alpine elevation. The vistas are gorgeous, too.

Couple warnings: the mosquitos are out and hungry - didn't see too many but at the lake there was enough of them to make us saddle up after just a short break. Also, the trail is still a bit loose with some bigger rocks lurking in the middle of the trail.

So worth it, though ... go hit it soon!
