Dry Summer Conditions

13 | Aug | '20

I've been riding here for a long time and absolutely love this place. Current conditions are dry and a lot of the trails are starting to break down more than usual (possibly due to heavier-than-normal use for COVID this season). The East Wing is in decent shape as it has a lot of tree cover, though the steady climb about 3/4 the way through is getting a bit sandy. Dissidents (fun and techy) is also in pretty good shape save two steep berms that have eroded and become rutted as well as sandy. Ticket to Ride has a lot of sand in most of the berms on the main trail which is beginning to rob speed on some of the faster sections. Jump Lines has the same issue as the sand is fairly deep right before the jumps and table tops and it robs you of your speed right when you need it most, making it a bit of a slog (a month ago it was not too bad). Blood Pressure is about the same. Beeline is in good shape and most of Juice Box, however the berm halfway down Juicebox is pretty sandy as well.
