Didn't Go As Planned

This wasn’t the best of days, and wasn't on my bucket list waiting to be satisfied. I took the Stumpjumper to Tokul East and went back to PNWheel to make another fun run down it. I stopped above the gap to inspect it and then made the attempt. Started rolling, and started the GoPro and the rest of the video is here. I strong-armed the bars a little to the right and didn’t straighten the wheel and DOWN I went. Thank goodness for the G-Form pads and Leatt MTB 4.0 full-face helmet. I walked away with dislocated right pinky which I reduced a minute later and a pretty swollen right hand. I got lucky this time and didn’t hit a tree. I finished the trail with the ‘walk of shame’ and bent the rear triangle and the rear wheel on the bike when I cased. "PNWheel" now means “Purchase New Wheel” for me now. If there is a 2014 Stumpjumper rear triangle (rear fork) out there sitting unused, let me know. GPS track isn't much but it's here. I won't be making trail reports for a little bit so it's time for the rest of you to take over and publish a few stories. :-)  Be careful out there!
