Rides on the east side of the Cascades near Cle Elum. These trails tend to be drier than trails on the west side of the Cascades, and more rugged. You won't really find any ferns, moss or vine maples here; instead, expect rocky soils, a little slick rock, Ponderosa pine and sunshine.
