Your First Edit

You're interested in helping out but not sure where to start? Here's a very very simple tutorial that shows you how to add some information to an existing page.

Let's say you're on the page about St Ed's:

And you think, Wow, there's almost no info here. There aren't even directions to the parking lot! I can add that.

Editing one section of a page is the easiest way to start: click the section edit link:

Is that edit link not there, like this?

That means you're not logged in. Click here to learn about registering and logging in.

So you clicked the edit link and now you see:

That first line with the == == is the section heading. The rest is the regular text. Go ahead and write some directions:

OK, that's good enough for now. It doesn't have to be perfect, just better than what was there before. If someone else wants to do better, they can revise it later.

Click Save...

...and the wiki will show you the updated page.
